Kustos / Curator: Marko Košan Razstava Vojna združuje in sooča dela mednarodno priznanih avtorjev, v katerih se na različne načine odražajo vojna in travmatske posledice vojnih spopadov. V središču razstave bo prikazanih 86 grafičnih del znamenitega nemškega ekspresionističnega mojstra Otta Dixa z naslovom »Der Krieg« (Vojna). Razstava predstavlja rdečo nit galerijskega programa, ki je bil v preteklih desetletjih z mednarodnimi razstavami pod pokroviteljstvom OZN posvečen promociji kulture miru, danes pa še vedno v veliki meri predstavlja angažirane umetniške prakse, ki se ukvarjajo z aktualno družbeno problematiko. The exhibition War brings together and confronts works by internationally acclaimed authors, which reflect, in different ways, war and the traumatic consequences of warfare. We shall present as the central part of the exhibition 86 graphic works, titled “Der Krieg” (“The War”), by the famous German Expressionist master Otto Dix. The exhibition represents the fil rouge of our gallery programme, which was committed in the past decades to the promotion of peace culture with international exhibitions under the auspices of the United Nations, and it still, to a large extent, presents engaged artistic practices dealing with topical social issues.
